With about 5 miles of sand and over a quarter of a mile wide at low tide, the beach at Filey Bay provides plenty of space for everything from sunbathing to dog walking, swimming and building sandcastles with the kids. Head right at the bottom of our private beach access to find the quieter end of the bay - you'll pass two beach cafes on your way along the golden sands. Huge cliffs tower over the beach's southernmost and northernmost tips, making for an inspiring view.

North York Moors National Park

Spend some time in the National Park and you'll quickly see that the North York Moors is a pretty special place. History and nature have combined to give us an amazingly vibrant landscape, rich in heritage and wildlife – an inspiring place to visit. Discover more here, from the wonder of ancient trees to our wild birds of prey, with attractions including museums, galleries, walks, historic buildings, picturesque villages and even a train line.

Just on the other side of the North York Moors lies Whitby, an idyllic seaside town known for its charm. Close to Robin Hood's Bay, Staithes, and other quintessential Yorkshire fishing villages, it's the perfect place to discover the North Yorkshire Coast on your holiday to The Bay Filey. Scarborough is the original seaside resort town. With famous beaches and countless things to do, it's one of the most popular destinations in the area. Visit Scarborough Castle's ruins, take the kids for a ride on the miniature railway, or simply stroll along the seafront with an ice cream or some fish and chips. The best bit? It's less than 10 miles away!

Scarborough Castle

Head through the imposing gatehouse and step into 3,000 years of history. Explore the castle headland with the audio tour and gain a fascinating insight into its past, from Iron Age settlements, to the Roman signal station and medieval chapel. The castle's heyday was in the 12th century when it was developed by Henry II and King John. This mighty castle has seen action in some of England's most defining battles and is now open for you to explore.

York Minster

Rievaulx Abbey

If peace and tranquillity is what you seek from a family day out in Yorkshire, then Rievaulx Abbey is the perfect choice. Set in a remote valley in the North York Moors National Park, Rievaulx is one of the most complete, and atmospheric, of England’s abbey ruins. It’s no wonder it’s one of the most popular visitor attractions in the North. Photo courtesy of English Heritage

Robin Hood's Bay

Forget the deckchairs and dodgems; this is Yorkshire's coastline at its most raw and elemental. Here, brooding cliffs tower over a huddle of red roofed former fishing cottages that spill right down to the edge of the sea, creating a ‘lost in time' getaway for anyone who loves unusual architecture and breathtaking scenery. How to finance your dream holiday home

Aria Resorts is pioneering mortgageable holiday homes in the UK market, with many properties now available to buy with a small deposit. Our 15-20 year leasehold properties are available from just £49,995, with mortgageable brick-built cottages from £174,950. By opting for a mortgage, you can avoid the high APR associated with a home loan.

Whether you prefer to buy your properties outright, or pay them off a little at a time, we have options available for you. All of our properties benefit from rental income, the majority of which will be passed on to you, the homeowner. We have partnered with Pegasus Caravan Finance to provide you with an affordable way to pay for your dream holiday home:

Investors will be interested in the 999 year lease on our brick-built Cottages, which will allow you to plan for long term returns on investment.

Holidaymakers may prefer the convenience of paying outright for a caravan, which can be used for holidays again and again. The rental income may also be used to offset the initial cost, though these are not classed as investment properties.

If you are interested in finding out more about finance, speak to one of our friendly staff, who will be happy to explain the options available to you.
