After a lot of thought and careful consideration, we have taken the difficult decision to close all our resorts from today (23 March) until 30 April.
Our decision is based on the Government’s clear advice urging everyone to stay at home, for there to be no non-essential travel, not to travel to or use your second home (announced 23 March) and to close all restaurants, pubs and leisure facilities for one month (announced 20 March) while the UK comes together to control the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19).
While you are currently able to access your holiday home during this time, HM Government have today strongly advised that you do not use your home nor do you travel to resort and that you remain in your primary residence. As you are aware all resort facilities are already closed to everyone. We are doing this to follow and support the Government’s advice and to do everything we can to keep you, our guests and our staff safe in these uncertain times.
As our resorts are closed to all holidaymakers, we urge you to apply this to any sublet guests that you have privately arranged to stay in your holiday home, during the period the resorts are closed.
We will have staff maintaining the security of the resorts during this time.
We’ll be updating this page as and when things change, so please keep checking back here for the latest information.
We’d like to take this moment to say thank you for your support in these challenging times, stay safe and we hope to see you soon.
Aria Resorts are following the guidelines and advise of Gov.UK and for the most up to date information please visit: gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public
If you are impacted by this advice, have any symptoms of Coronavirus or have any concerns, please follow the guidelines of Gov.UK.
When visiting our resorts, we would ask all our guests and owners to take the following sensible Government advice:
- Washing hands regularly and use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser, if soap and water are not available https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-body/best-way-to-wash-your-hands/
- Maintain good hygiene practices such as using tissues when coughing or sneezing and disposing of the tissue in a bin
We are doing everything we can to get in touch with all our owners in due course. Please be patient, someone will be in touch shortly. Thank you.
You’ll find Aria in all the top spots in the UK. We currently have two resorts in bonny Scotland, including one just up the road from the infamous Glen Eagles. We have one resort on the long, sweeping stretch of sand at Filey in Yorkshire, a choice of three resorts spanning the Isle of Wight, an option in Swanage, Dorset with majestic sea views; and no less than five resorts covering the epic North coast of Cornwall.
If you are looking at Aria holiday homes then we’d like to think so! When it comes to choosing your ultimate escape plan, location is so important, so first and foremost it has to be somewhere that you will enjoy coming back to time and again. To get the most out of your new holiday lifestyle we’d suggest a resort that is within easy reach, so you can go from reality to a life of leisure with as little fuss as possible. Two to three hours travel time is usually about right, but if you really love Cornwall but live in Leeds, you won’t find us standing in your way! We’ll just point you towards the thriving Newquay airport rather than the motorway.
Our facilities vary from resort to resort so take a good look around our resort pages to get a feel for each one or give us a call for some tailored advice. You can choose a destination like Retallack Resort and Spa in Cornwall, which in terms of facilities has the works. Think giant inflatable aqua parks, surfing simulators, kids’ clubs, fitness classes, scrumptious food and an indulgent spa. Or, if that’s not for you, you can opt for a more minimal approach such as St Helens Coastal Resort where the location, oodles of green space and a “get away from it all feel” do all the talking.
We love welcoming guests from every generation and seeing families enjoying making memories together at all of our resorts. However, we also understand that some of our holiday home owners are looking for a little slice of heaven which keeps the noise and exuberance of energetic little ones at a very safe distance! You will find that our larger resorts, with a greater range of facilities and child friendly activities, have a more magnetic pull to families with wee ones, whereas our smaller quieter retreats tend to be a little more suited to grownup getaways and getting your fix of peace and quiet. However, even at our most lively resorts there is always a quiet nook to be found, plus you have the option of using our managed letting service to make money from your holiday home during the school holidays and then you can let loose on all of those fabulous facilities when the kids are safely back at school. For advice on which of our resorts would best suit you just give us a call for advice.
Our friendly sales teams would be more than happy to speak to you on the phone or provide advice by email to help you narrow down which our resorts are the most suited to you but there is nothing like trying it out for yourself! Check out the travel time, nose around the holiday homes, meet the team, try out the facilities and explore the local area. We offer a VIP resort tour which can include a complimentary stay at our resorts (subjects to T&Cs and availability), allowing you to experience our facilities first hand before you commit to ownership. Just get in touch and ask us!
We sell holiday homes with a little added wow! On our resorts you will see top of the range static caravan holiday homes and luxury lodges from leading manufacturers, which are often not available from our local competitors. We have the latest luxurious models and stand out features including futuristic roof terraces, delivering the best views around for you to enjoy with your favourite evening tipple. At four of resorts we also have a range of mortgageable holiday homes including lake houses, beach houses, cottages and boutique barns. These stunners come with a 999 year lease and 10 year warranty as well as investment buying options so you can sit back and earn and enjoy.
We like to think that we’ve got a holiday home for every pocket with static caravan holiday homes starting at about £49,950 and our mortgageable properties ranging up to £495,000. You may also be able to find an irresistible offer amongst our pre-loved stock. We are well aware that our holiday homes are not the cheapest on the market, but that’s because we want your new lifestyle to have the hint of luxury it deserves and so only have the best of the best holiday homes available at our resorts. We also throw in a package of owner benefits, long site licences and fabulously maintained resorts.
Each of our resorts is a one of a kind and so our site fees and running costs vary dependent on location and the resort type. However, our site fees are extremely competitive and can start from as little as just over £3,000 for the year with utilities being charged on top. Each of our resorts has an information sheet which outlines all the ongoing costs for you, just drop us an email or give us a call and we can send over all the details for you.
Unfortunately, holiday home ownership is not all skipping along the coastline and romantic dinners as the sun goes down (although it almost is!) and it is important to consider the ongoing costs as you imagine the dawn of your new lifestyle. In addition to the initial purchase of your dream home from home, you will need to cover your annual site fees, utilities and annual insurance. There’s also general maintenance to factor in, although modern holiday homes are fairly economical to maintain and all of this can be easily arranged with your resort of choice. At some of our resorts you will have the option to make the most of our managed letting service which will make money from the time that you find it impossible to escape; and this can sometimes cover your annual costs, so you can have your holiday home cake and eat it!
Buying a holiday caravan or lodge is a simple and straightforward process which avoids the need for stamp duty, solicitors’ fees and council tax. Mortgageable holiday homes take a more traditional approach and stamp duty will be due.
You may be able to spread the cost of your holiday home with our finance options available at 6.9% APR on some static caravans (subject to approval, T&Cs apply) so your dream lifestyle could easily become an affordable reality with easy monthly payments. Our friendly teams will be happy to talk you through all the options and help you process a finance application. Many of our properties are also built to full building regulations and are NHBC or ICW certified meaning that they are fully mortgageable. Give us a call or drop us an email for more information.
At most of our holiday resorts we offer a managed letting service so you can earn money from your holiday home when you can’t be there yourself. Aria Resorts makes this as easy as pie by looking after all of the marketing and securing you bookings. We also welcome your guests, look after them when they are on holiday and then tidy up after them so that your treasured holiday home is ready for you to enjoy the next time you visit. Your income will be paid to you quarterly so you can sit back and relax, even when you aren’t on holiday! For more information on this scheme, contact your resort of choice.
This service is not available at Swanage or Widemouth Fields, which are exclusive, owners’ only resorts.
We know that once you are here it will be difficult to leave, but at some point you will have to tear yourself away from bliss, because your holiday home can’t be your “all the time” home; but this is, after all, what makes a holiday home all the more special! When you sign on the line you will be asked to provide proof of a permanent residence and this will be required annually. At no point can your holiday home be your full-time abode, even as a stop-gap between addresses.
Our holiday homes have top notch insulation, central heating and double glazing so you’ll have access to all seasons! Our resorts are open all year-round so you can enjoy crunchy autumn leaves, snuggly nights in with winds whistling, Spring awakening and long balmy, summer days. We believe that all it takes to leave your every day behind, is to just get away and find some space to breathe. So, whenever, you need to just that, we’ll be hear waiting to welcome you back.
Yes, yes, yes! We love to see those tails wagging! All of our resorts are dog friendly and as long as your four-legged friend is a good doggie who embraces holiday life, they will be welcome to come and enjoy your time away, right alongside you. Our resort locations have lots to offer dog owners, from beaches just perfect for walkies to special dog menus and ice cream treats!
Absolutely, we can sort all of that out with you with you when you purchase your holiday home through Leisure Days Insurance
You can sleep sound at night knowing that your holiday home will have a manufacturer’s warranty and also individual appliance warranties. Our mortgageable holiday homes have a 10-year warranty from either NHBC or ICW.
We want you to love everything about your holiday home, so in most cases you will be offered the opportunity to choose the plot that is just right for you, whether it is to get the perfect view, be close to the pool, or be in the furthest reaches of the resort. This is particularly easy at our resorts which have brand new plots available thanks to our exciting new developments. At times you may choose a holiday home that has already been assigned to a specific plot but just have a chat with the sales team and they will do their very best to help.
